Nikolay Nenchev’s attempts were carried out by his paid emissaries, who attacked municipal and regional organizations of the agricultural party of Petya Stavreva and Anastasia Moser with proposals to merge the structures of “United Farmers” into the BZNS.
There were similar attempts in other agricultural parties, but they were unsuccessful. At a meeting of the Management Board of “United Farmers”, the regional organizations stated their categorical position that they will not work for the interest of foreign formations.
Despite this, Minister Nenchev continued to call farmers and give them generous promises of positions of power and business opportunities. Nenchev undermined all possibilities for other agricultural formations to be attracted to the Reform Bloc, and now he wants his party to remain the only agricultural formation.
