Oyem, July 13, 2023, (AGP) –Pomus recently, 44 agents of the defense and security forces in service in the province of Woleu-Ntem (North), wore their stripes on July 12, during a ceremony organized at the Oyem gendarmerie camp.
This is, on behalf of the national police forces, a senior officer, Commander Dany Ossakoubou Mamadou, promoted this year to the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.
Then two brigadiers, Wilde kiellit and Darkisse Rolda Abogho, who reach the rank of Brigadier-Chief, while the deputy brigadiers, Gabin Minhindou-Minhoudou, Wulfrand Eyamba, Parfait Asse Menzeing are now brigadiers. In addition, the Guardians of the Peace, Steny Nguema Bekale and Audrey Bondzanhou, are promoted to Sub-Brigadiers.
With regard to the national gendarmerie, Second Lieutenants Éric Abikouo, Jean Luc Mouélé, Etounga Boungou, have reached the rank of full Lieutenant. Fourteen Chief Warrant Officers took the rank of Chief Warrant Officer and seventeen Major Chief Warrant Officers that of Warrant Officer. Marshals of Logis Rode B. Ambila Obouoyi and Audrey Kombila are now Marshals of Logis Chief Majors.
In prison security, the brigadier chiefs Philippe Judes Mavikana, Alain Roger Ndimina and Pamphile Mengue Nguema take the rank of supervisor.
In his circumstantial remarks, the host of the ceremony, Lieutenant-Colonel Gaston Mbima, commander of the North Departmental Gendarmerie Legion, congratulated the promoted, not without calling on them to show more professionalism in the accomplishment of their tasks.
« It is up to you to understand that wearing a new rank cannot be an end in itself. On the contrary, it commits you to more responsibilities. Show yourself worthy of the trust placed in you by your superiors“, he indicated.
