Defending champion Real Madrid made a surprising mistake in the Champions League. The Spanish top club around national defender Antonio Rüdiger lost 0-1 (0-1) at OSC Lille on matchday 2 and suffered their first competitive defeat since January. Real will host Borussia Dortmund in a repeat of the previous season’s final on October 22nd.
