Everyone misses football. We got together after the holidays, a month of preparation is already behind us, all the guys are in a fighting mood at the start of the championship. I think that no guy who aspires to play at a higher level, dreams of a first team and wants to play in the Youth Champions League, show his best qualities, does not need to look for an additional incentive to become a champion.
— How can you evaluate today’s opponent? How many problems were the Minai players able to create for our defense?
– I will say that the opponent is prepared. We had several problems with the fact that sometimes they “raised”, and it was difficult for us to press, but I think that by listening to the coaching instructions, we were able to neutralize the onslaught of the opponent, convert our chances and bring the game to victory.
— Many players born in 2006 joined the team. How do they fit in, get used to it, understand the requirements and adapt?
– They understand the requirements themselves, because during the year they played for Zorya U-19 on loan. Therefore, with regard to speed and responsibility, they understand everything. The month that we spent together during the preparation helped in their adaptation, as well as in making them understand the requirements and the difference between Zorya and Dynamo.
— You had a moment at the end of the match when the ball hit the crossbar, tell us about it.
– I thought that the ball was “taken off” by the defender who was in front of me, but it so happened that he flew over him. As it turned out, and struck. Unfortunately, he didn’t score.
— Today we saw father and mother in the stands as well. How important is their support to you?
For me, family is the most important thing in life. The support from both my mother and father is very important to me. Does the father tell? Basically, this is done by the coach, but the father can make a remark if he sees any shortcomings in my game.
