Palakkad: The arrest of the accused in the murder case of Tenkurissi Aneesh has been registered. The arrests of the accused Prabhu Kumar and Suresh were recorded. Both have been charged with murder. They will be brought to the exact spot today for evidence.
The tragic incident took place on Friday morning. Aneesh, a native of Elamandam, was killed by his wife and family for marrying her lover. The murder took place at Manamkulam near Tenkurissi.
Prabhu Kumar, one of the accused, was arrested by the police in Coimbatore on Saturday morning. Within hours, his accomplice Suresh was taken into police custody. Prabhu Kumar told the police that the pressure on him to fall in love with and marry his financially and economically backward daughter Aneesh led to Krishna.
The investigation of the case was handed over to the District Crime Branch. Palakkad SP said that the investigation is being handed over to the district crime branch as it is an important case. A special investigation team led by DySP Sundaran was formed to probe the case.
Earlier, witness Arun had said that he had threatened to kill Aneesh. Suresh and Prabhu Kumar attacked Aneesh with swords and clubs. Aneesh, who was coming on a bike, was beaten with a stick and stabbed to death. Arun said Prabhu Kumar had threatened to remove Aneesh within three months.
Aneesh was stabbed in both legs. There are bruises and bruises on the body. Aneesh died on the way to the hospital. The family also said that Aneesh had been threatened several times by Haritha’s relatives. Aneesh was inside the house as the threat persisted. Aneesh started coming out in the next few days.
