TRIBUNNEWS.COM – A North Korean defectors, Kim Geum-hyok, exposed various television programs shown in the Communist state’s electronic media.
To BBCKim revealed that when he was still a North Korean citizen, he didn’t really want to watch state television, KCTV.
His television was left dusty because he was reluctant to watch government programs.
Kim also said that there was no official access to watch news from abroad.
Thus, North Korean citizens cannot find out foreign information that is happening in the world.
“There are only illegal ways,” said Kim.

Kim also admitted to remembering all the songs of North Korea.
He remembered the North Korean refugees as they gathered together.
“One person started singing North Korean songs, and everyone followed suit,” he said.
Kim also mentioned that North Korean culture is closely related to Russian culture.
