Defeats by Bolsonaro allies add to government isolation in the world; Listen to the podcast – June 16, 2021 – Podcasts

Former Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu resigned from power last Sunday as the youngest in a line of right-wing leaders near President Jair Bolsonaro. After 12 years at the helm of the Israeli government, Netanyahu was ousted by an agreement between left, middle and right parties.

Since the beginning of his term in office, Bolsonaro has seen allies like the American Donald Trump and the Argentine Mauricio Macri be defeated at the ballot box – and his conflicted relationship with his successors even before they took office could heighten the isolation of his administration in the world.

On this Wednesday (16) episode, Café da Manhã speaks to reporter Fábio Zanini to understand how these findings affect Bolsonaro and to analyze whether the wave of the right in the world is ending.

The audio program will be published on Spotify, Folha’s partner streaming service specializing in music, podcast and video in the initiative. You can listen to the episode by clicking below. To access the app, simply register for free.
