A moose died when a car hit it in Mikkeli.
The accident happened on Friday after dark on Hirvensalmentie near Susniementie.
According to the Etelä Savo rescue service, the car traveling in the direction of Hirvensalmi was wrecked in the accident, making it undriveable, but the two people in the car were only slightly injured.
The rescue service directed traffic past the accident site and cleared the car parts from the road.
