The latest representative of the Assassin series looks very grumpy and weighs more than 1.5 kilograms.
At this year’s CES, DeepCool flashed its rather drab processor cooler called Assassin IV, and is now preparing to launch the 1,575-kilogram product on the market, first in Asia. The twin-tower solution, which can be deployed up to a TDP of 280 watts, has grown to a height of 164 mm and wears black from top to bottom, and its aluminum lamination is connected to its contact surface by seven pieces of heat-conducting tubes (6 mm in diameter).
The product is supplied with a 140 and 120 mm fluid bearing fan, whose rpm can be adjusted between 500 and 1700 thanks to the four-pin connector, while for their 79.1/58.06 cfm air delivery, 2.44/2.1 mmH2O static pressure and a noise load of 29.3 dB are combined, which values with the activation of the quiet mode are 500-1300 rpm, 63.76/46.75 cfm, 1.58/1.35 mmH2They are changed to O and also to 22.6 dB. It is perhaps worth mentioning that with the latter, the construction’s total consumption of 2.88 watts drops to 1.56 watts.
The ribbing is surrounded by a metal casing with ventilation slots, the frames of the replaceable/repositionable wind machines are standard 25 mm thick, and the line of compatible sockets is strengthened by Intel LGA 115x, 1200, 1700 and 20xx, as well as AMD Socket AM4/AM5.
For the time being, we do not have any further information about the circumstances or pricing of the European appearance of this impressively colorful object.
