Libreville, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 (Gabon Info) – The author Sylvain Nzamba has just devoted a 300-page book to the multisectoral action of the Gabonese head of state.
Several dignitaries of the Republic and executives of the Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG) answered present yesterday Monday at the invitation of Dr Sylvain Nzamba who proceeded to the dedication of an essay on the President of the Republic. Entitled: “Ali Bongo Ondimba, facing the Nation: Multisectoral and rhetorical actions for a renewal of sovereign confidence”, this 300-page book thoroughly dissects the message of December 31, 2015 from the Head of State to the Nation. The very last of its kind in his first term as head of Gabon. “A singularity in the staging of the character, in the expressive and enunciative processes, in the perspective and analysis of the socio-economic and political issues of the present and the future for Gabon, our common heritage, ultimately, in the voluntarist ambition to govern Gabon differently, clearly displayed by the President of the Republic”, explains the author.
Divided into two main moments, this work prefaced by Steeve Nzegho Dieko, Secretary General of the PDG, addresses three topical themes. The first, which focuses on “Political governance and democratic and social requirements”, purely economic and infrastructural, political and social aspects. While the second is a “Plea for a renewal of the contract of trust” and deals with the contract between Ali Bongo Ondimba and his people, the refusal of self-satisfaction with the results obtained on the evening of his mandate and the manifestation of a determination to continue, hand in hand with the Gabonese.
According to Sylvain Nzamba, “only those uninitiated in the exercise of analyzing the presidential political discourse could expect that the Head of State would not be a candidate for his own succession in August 2023, as he was in 2016”. The secretary general of the party in power will not miss the opportunity to invite future generations of politicians to draw inspiration from them for a successful entry into this arena.
