Deddy Corbuzier couldn’t hold back his tears when he heard the son’s story Dono Warkop from Indo. The son of the late legendary comedian had a sad childhood, Mother.
Dono Warkop married Titi Kusumawardhani in 1984. From that marriage, he was blessed with three children named Andika, Damar, and Satrio.
Andika and Damar still spend a lot of time with their father. However, the youngest, Satrio Sarwo Trengginas, experienced different things. He became an orphan at a very young age.
“Now maybe I can’t cry anymore, but I used to cry. Dono’s youngest son, Satrio, his name, he didn’t know his father. Dono died when he was 5 or 6 years old,” said Indro, quoted from the YouTube channel Deddy Corbuzier.
On December 30, 2001 ago, Dono died from lung cancer which he had been suffering for a long time. Dono breathed his last at the Santo Carolus Hospital, Central Jakarta.
The departure of the comedian from Klaten left a deep sorrow for the entertainment world of the country. Not only that, Indro was also sad to see Dono’s youngest son who was still small.
Although the father is gone, Dono’s three children continue their lives. Indro who is now the last member Warkop DKI the remaining trying to maintain their extended family relationship.
Indro said, it often subsidizes the children of Dono and Kasino. Although the number is not large, Indro always pray the money can help them run their life.
“How much is the subsidy from me, maybe Rp. 500 thousand. I used to always pray that hopefully it could be a child’s sustenance, and it happened,” he said.
The 63-year-old man did not expect that his hard work with Warkop DKI could provide great benefits for their children. When starring in a movie Warkop DKI Reborn in 2016, Indro was so touched to be able to bring sustenance to Dono and Kasino’s children.
“During the movie Warkop DKI Reborn First, they received unexpected money. Suddenly you can buy a motorbike, buy a car. The child cried, ‘It’s crazy I don’t know my father but my father still sends me money’. I’m so happy to see that,” he said.
