The President of the Republic Danilo Medina called an extraordinary legislature to the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies to meet for a period of 30 days from January 15 to learn about the various bills of laws in process.
In a tweet published by the Presidency spokesman, Roberto Rodríguez Marchena, he issued decree 19-20 that details that among the draft laws that are being processed will be public private partnerships, as well as the one that modifies the surcharge due to late payments to the Dominican Social Security System (SDSS), among others.
“The bill of public-private partnerships; The bill that modifies the surcharge for late payments to the Dominican Social Security System (SDSS), strengthens the Social Security Treasury (TSS) and the General Directorate of Information and Defense of the Affiliate (DIDA) and modifies the scheme of commissions applied by the Pension Fund Administrators (AFP); the draft law on security interests; the bill that creates the system of reciprocal guarantees; the draft laws on termination of ownership for civil forfeiture of illegal assets; and the maritime trade project, as well as any other bill that is introduced in the legislative chambers, ”says the decree.
