Most likely there is no direct link to the changes in the September 25 policy. At that time, the 1.5 meters was released, also in the catering industry, which had to check its visitors for a vaccination certificate, negative test or recently experienced infection. It will take a week or two before the possible effects of such measures via infections can be seen in the infection figures.
This applies even more to hospital admissions, which in turn react with a delay to increases in the number of positive tests. It is striking, however, that here too the situation is slightly deteriorating. The number of admissions rose in the data from the National Coordination Center for Patients Spreading (LCPS) from 225 to 282 (+25 percent) and the number of ICU admissions from 62 to 65. Hospital occupancy also increased: from 456 to 483.
The number of deaths continued to fall, from 34 to 29.
