The vaccination rate in Amsterdam is declining for the third year in a row. And especially in the Nieuw-West district, where we are today, willingness to take the injection is low. Only 71% of children under the age of two have been vaccinated against mumps, measles and rubella.
How great are the risks? And what is the solution to this vaccination low point? We ask Sjanna Besteman, pediatrician at OLVG hospital, and Gjalt Jellesma, chairman of the Interest Association of Parents in Childcare.
