Decline in Dengue Fever Cases in South Lampung during August 2023

Tribunlampung.co.id, South Lampung – Cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DBD) in South Lampung during August 2023 decreased.

From data from the South Lampung Health Service, the number of dengue fever cases in July was 14 cases.

Meanwhile, in August there were 11 cases of dengue fever.

The total number of dengue fever cases throughout 2023 has also decreased compared to 2022.

Where in 2023, the number of dengue fever cases in South Lampung will be 110 cases.

In the same period January-August 2022, there were 152 cases.

The total number of dengue fever cases throughout 2022 is 227 cases.

“The total number of dengue fever cases in South Lampung is 110 cases. Data from January to August 2023,” said Head of the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Division of the South Lampung Health Service, Jamaludin, Wednesday (27/9/2023).

In detail, in January there were 9 cases, namely in Sragi, Ketapang and Katibung Districts, 1 case each.

Mediation, Sidomulyo and Kalianda each with 2 cases.

February 16 cases, namely in Sragi, Way Panji, Penengahan, Rajabasa and Sidomuyo Districts, 1 case each.

Natar, Katibung and Palas each had 2 cases. Then Kalianda had 5 cases.

In March, there were 25 cases, namely in the districts of Candipuro, Way Sulan, Palas, Tanjung Bintang and Rajabasa, 1 case each.

Merbau Mataram, Penengahan and Sidomulyo each with 2 cases. Katibung 3 cases, Natar 4 cases, and Kalianda 7 cases.
