News before Muhadjir corrected the question:
Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy said 26 December 2022 would be a public holiday in the context of joint holidays for Hari Raya Christmas.
“Holiday (December 26),” Muhadjir told National Police Headquarters, Jakarta on Friday (16/12). He responded to reporters’ questions on whether the government would impose a joint holiday on December 26.
Meanwhile, Christmas Day on December 25th falls on a Sunday. So December 26th falls on a Monday.
He didn’t explain the vacation plans in detail. When asked why there is a public holiday this year, Muhadjir only said that the cases of Covid-19 have decreased.
All regions currently have PPKM Level 1 status.
“Yes, level one is lower than two,” he said.
