It will be a soaking wet day, because rain will fall in many places from early morning to late evening in many places on Tuesday. A raincoat is therefore not an unnecessary luxury when you go out.
A rain area is moving across our country from the west. In the south and southeast there are also some dry moments in the morning. In the northern provinces, on the other hand, about 10 to 30 millimeters of rain may fall.
It will be a maximum of 8 to 11 degrees. There is a strong southwest wind at the sea and the IJsselmeer. The west coast may experience wind gusts of around 70 kilometers per hour in the morning.
Rain will first fall in the evening, but it will gradually move out of the country via the southeast. It will therefore continue to rain in Limburg for a while.
The sky will clear up a bit overnight into Wednesday. It is then dry in most places. The temperature drops to about 5 to 7 degrees.
