Decathlon to open second Irish store in Limerick with over 70 sports available

Decathlon, the popular sports retailer, opened its first store in Ballymun during the height of the pandemic. As exercise and outdoor activities were some of the few things allowed under lockdown restrictions, the timing couldn’t have been better. Now, the company is expanding with a new store opening in Limerick on May 12th. Located in the Parkway Retail Park, the 5,000 sqm store will offer equipment for over 70 different sports, including experience zones for climbing, cycling, gym, football, basketball, and outdoor fitness. With over 400 parking spaces and an on-site café, Ampersand, shoppers can easily spend the day exploring everything the store has to offer.
