Decathlon notified the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) of the withdrawal from the market of pool coils with integrated hammock for children, after a potential risk of breaking a solder was discovered.
According to ANPC, the product pool coil with integrated hammock for children brand Nabaiji was sold in Romania between January 1 and July 3, 2021.
According to the manufacturer, in very rare cases, the glue can break gradually and partially separating the inflatable part from the part of the fabric on which the child sits.
“We have not encountered any accidents related to this issue, however we do not want to take any risk in terms of the safety of our young users and therefore withdraw all our products from the market,” said the manufacturer’s representatives.
According to them, customers who bought this product can return it to the nearest store. Customers will receive back the value of the coil.
