The new Minister of Tourism, Sports and Culture, Arturo Bernal, has already attended his first event with the Government of Juanma Moreno. The politician has traveled to Sanlúcar de Barrameda to go to the box area and witness the first stage of the horse races.
“That my first big event as director is the Sanlúcar Horse Races is no coincidence”, the director has written from the land of the former vice president of the Board, Juan Marín. “This event, with 177 years of history, brings together tourism, culture and sports like few other events in # Andalusia”, he continued to write. The post was accompanied by images of the counselor in the VIP box.

Bernal stressed that this sports competition, recognized as an Event of International Tourist Interest, “is also identified with the culture of the horse, natural spaces and the sea”, with the world of horses also being the protagonist, “which makes Spanish culture unique and Andalusian”.
In the same way, he stressed that the races “represent an absolutely recognized national and international promotion element”, which attracts the attention “of the media from all over the world” and generates an advertising value for the dissemination of the Andalusia destination of more than 6, 5 million euros.
The politician has not only launched a candidacy, but also a Twitter account. Bernal was immersed in a controversy as soon as he began his candidacy. The counselor wrote a criticism of the Goya Awards on his social networks that turned against him. At that time, after reaffirming his words and confessing that he had not even seen the gala, he finally rectified and deleted the comment from the social network.
The counselor wanted to make a clean slate on his social networks and start a new path on Twitter within his new position, trying to leave behind the ghosts of the past.
