The service to join the new scrapping is operational, this time exclusively online.
Who has debts with the tax authorities – 19 million in Italy, 50 thousand in Sardinia – may ask for amnesty by 30 April: the facilitated definition, as specified in a note from the Revenue-Collection Agency, allows you to pay only the amount of the residual debt without paying the penalties, default interest and the premium, while the traffic fines can be extinguished without paying the interest and the premium.
The methods of submitting applications and the procedure that will follow change a little compared to the previous scrapping: first of all, the procedure is only telematics and there will be at least three steps, by sending emails between the Agency and the taxpayer, before close the practice.
The State is ready to remedy the files included in the period from 1 January 2000 to June 2022: it will be possible to dilute the payment over five years up to 18 installments. The new rules make it possible to “recover” even excluded and “forfeited” taxpayers from previous scrappings (for not having paid the installment) or those who have a scrapping in progress.
