At the age of 26, Mike Hager owed €35,000. So he swore to himself that he would be a millionaire at the age of 40. Here he tells how he did it.
“First of all, you always use the same three levers: increase income, reduce expenses, invest your leftover money sensibly,” says Hager.
Today Hager owns a condominium and some apartments in Munich, for a total of approximately 1,000 square meters of living space.
By the time they’re in their mid-twenties, most people have completed their training or education and may already be starting their first job and earning money for the first time. It was different with Mike Hager. At 26 he was already 35,000 euros in debt.
In an interview with Business Insider, he talks about how it happened and how he finally became a millionaire 20 years later.
