According to initial information, the accident happened around 9 p.m. at the entrance to the B45 on Autobahn 3 in the direction of Frankfurt am Main.
Both the cause and the course of the crash is still completely unclear.
When the fire brigade arrived on site, the emergency services found a “debris field of vehicle parts” distributed over all lanes of the A3.

Four injured people had already left the cars involved in the collision on their own, they were all taken care of by the emergency services and taken to nearby hospitals.
Photos from the scene of the accident show that a black car was massively damaged at the front. A white SUV must have skidded in the accident and rolled over, the car was with the roof on the road when the emergency services arrived.
The truck was only slightly damaged, TAG24 learned.
