Debate on advertising and gambling at the University of Bordeaux

The “Regulation of games of chance and gambling” chair at the University of Bordeaux is organizing a debate on October 18 within the framework of the public consultation launched by the National Gaming Authority (ANJ) on gambling advertising.

It will be a debate which will bring together the professional or associative communities concerned by gambling during which these actors will be able to offer a perspective on gambling advertising.

The following will be gathered during a round table that the chair will lead:

  • operators of the gaming world,
  • the National Gaming Authority,
  • health professionals, including Jean-Michel Delile, president of the Addiction Federation
  • education stakeholders,
  • advertisers.

About the organsiator

The “Regulation of games of chance and money” chair brings together teacher-researchers from the University of Bordeaux and the main players in the sector to reflect on new avenues of regulation and respond to current challenges in societal, economic and health matters.
