The Community Council of Chartres Métropole, meeting this Thursday, September 30 at Chartrexpo, gave rise to lively exchanges between the president of the Agglomeration, Jean-Pierre Gorges and several elected officials who had opposed theintroduction of a new additional property tax of 7.5%, in December 2020.

“The executive was unanimous in lowering the envelope of aid funds from 3 million euros to 2.5 million euros, given the debate on the establishment of an additional tax on built property”, explained Frank Masselus, vice-president of Chartres Métropole in charge of finances.
