At “Quarto Grado” the sentences of the boy killed are revealed thanks to the work of a team of experts
“Please enough, it hurts, bring me the phone. “These are the words spoken by Marco Vannini, the Ladispoli boy who died on the night of 17 May 2005. “Fourth Degree” for the first time, a reworked audio was shown thanks to the company “Emme team”, a group of Italian and American experts who cleaned the audio of Antonio Ciontoli’s phone call at 118, restoring Marco’s sentences.
In the restored recording, Marco’s complaints and invocations are clearly heard and he also addresses his girlfriend, Martina Ciontoli: “Where’s the phone, bring it to me, bring me the phone – he says – it hurts me, my arm hurts” . While the girl tried to calm him: “Enough, enough”. The next July 8, for the Ciontoli the appeal process begins: five months ago, the Supreme Court has accepted the request of the General Prosecutor to do it again, but this call could further change the scenarios.
