The number of deaths from the campaign Israeli bombings this Monday against various points of the Lebanon now amounts to 356, among whom are at least 24 childrenwhile the number of injured exceeds 1,200, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reported in a statement.
“The bombings caused the martyrdom of 356 people, including 24 children and 42 women, and left 1,246 injured,” said the department, which specified that this is the new casualty count of “continued Israeli enemy incursions” in towns in southern Lebanon, the eastern Bekaa Valley and Baalbek.
The head of the department, Firas Abiad, reported in a previous press conference that some of the air attacks that have taken place since this morning in the southern and eastern regions of the country hit ambulances and medical centers.
He also added that at least two health workers were killed and 16 others were injured by the bombings while they were participating in operations to transfer victims to different hospitals.
