The Ministry of Interior implemented a death sentence for one of the perpetrators in the eastern region. For his bravery, he killed the agent of Sergeant Suleiman bin Ibrahim bin Ahmed Al-Sumairi – a Saudi national – by shooting him, and wounding another security man while trying to arrest him for sheltering a minor girl and having an illegal relationship with her.
The Ministry confirmed that the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in charging him with committing his crime, and by referring him to the competent court, a document was issued against him proving his guilt in what was attributed to him.
She added that the court deed stated that what the perpetrator did is considered a form of corruption on earth and evidence of his seriousness and the rootedness of criminality in himself, and due to the multiplicity of his precedents and the heinousness of his crime and his breach of security and the fear of the safe, which requires a decisive punishment for evil that repels him. He was sentenced to death, and the ruling was supported by his authority, and a royal order was issued to enforce what was decided by law and was supported by his authority.
And she stressed that she announces this in an affirmation of the Kingdom’s keenness to establish security, achieve justice, and implement the provisions of God in everyone who transgresses the innocent or sheds their blood, and at the same time warns everyone who tempts himself to do so that the legal punishment will be his fate.
