This is Branagh’s second attempt to transcribe old detective story Agatha Christie. At the same time, he does not try to be a purely comedic concept, even though the character of Detective Hercule Poirot calls for it.

Death on the Nile was filmed by the same team as Murder in the Orient Express (2017) with Kenneth Branagh in the lead role. The film will be released in Czech cinemas on February 10, 2022.
