The body of the deceased wife of the famous Russian blogger Alexei Romanov was found in Yerevan, the armlur.am news portal reported on the evening of September 14.
According to the preliminary version, Yana Zelenskaya committed suicide, her body was found in the apartment bathroom.
At about 21.30, an ambulance team called to the scene received a signal from the Operational Control Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia that the team of doctors on duty had discovered the body of a woman.
Romanov himself is a former TV presenter and journalist from Khabarovsk. He was in Yerevan in 2018 during the Velvet Revolution, publishing videos of rallies and demonstrations. He was considered one of the most active foreign “coverers” of the events of that time in the media space.
Before this, the blogger lived with his family in Georgia since 2016. In 2019 he returned to Russia.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated on grounds of murder, reports the crime chronicle website Shamshyan.com.
