Born in 1956 in the Philippines, she set down in France in 1981 for professional reasons. Virginia has long worked in the hotel industry.
On the private side: she gives birth to two daughters and a son. The latter dies. His misfortune. Its drama.
In 1988, she met André Josselin. The couple moved to Nice, frequented the association of naturalists of the Alpes-Maritimes.
Nature is their common passion. They moved to Tourrette-Levens in 1997 and took part in the activities of the karate and hiking club.
On November 13, 1999, their house was destroyed by an explosion. At the time, many Tourrettans reached out to the family who, despite everything, kept smiling.
Virginia experiences a new ordeal a year later: she is the victim of a road accident. “She never complained. She also knew how to cheer up. She was a friend you could count on.”, confides Claudette, who knew her at the hiking club.
It was Claudette who introduced her friend to the Friendship Club, where Virginia spent a lot of time. “Virginia also introduced me to new activities. We often went dancing in Nice and elsewhere … The joy of living, tenacity: her greatest qualities.”
His funeral will take place tomorrow at 10 a.m. in the Notre-Dame de L’Assomption church in Tourrette-Levens. To her husband, her children and grandchildren, her friends and relatives, Nice-Matin offers its sincere condolences.
