Death of Patrice Laffont: Franck Dubosc speaks of “a difficult moment…”

The world of the small screen is in mourning. This Wednesday, August 7, Patrice Laffont passed away at the age of 84. A few days before his next birthday, the host succumbed to a heart attack in his home in Oppède, in Vaucluse. Since then, many personalities have paid tribute to him. Among them, Nathalie Simon, Rachida Dati and Julian Bugier live on France 2.

In a video posted on his Instagram account, Franck Dubosc – in turn – shared his sadness: “I’m on vacation and I just learned of Patrice Laffont’s death. I rarely post when people die because often it’s a bit like: ‘Ah well, he’s dead, we’re going to show that we knew him.’ I didn’t really know Patrice Laffont well, but it’s like a part of my childhood is taking a hit.”

Patrice Laffont, “a very good, very kind man”

If he admits to having only crossed paths “two or three times” the former presenter of Fort Boyard, he keeps the memory of him “of a very good, very kind man.” Franck Dubosc poursuit : “And then, I find that leaving during the summer is always a difficult time because those who stay will think about it every summer.” The actor then has a thought “especially for Axelle Laffont, his daughter, but also for his wife.”

But there you go, I just wanted to say that because I think it.” A captioned video: “Goodbye Mr. Laffont” which did not fail to touch its subscribers. “Yes it’s true, we watched it every day on TV when we were kids. Nice message Franck”, “Indeed it’s a part of our childhood that flies away and that does something!” et “Thank you Franck for this human moment, of sharing even in sadness”one can read among the many comments.
