On Tuesday, in its final speech, the prosecutor’s office requested a change in the legal classification of the offense charged against the accused – finding him guilty failure to help Ewa Tylman and giving him a sentence of 3 years’ imprisonment for this crime, which is the maximum penalty for this act.

The verdict in the case was supposed to be handed down on Friday, but this did not happen. The hearing was adjourned until January 29. The court pointed to necessary to clarify doubts, which appeared after the closing statements of Adam Z’s defense lawyers. As “Głos Wielkopolski” points out, it is probably intended to check whether the trial experiment with the participation of the accused was properly conducted and whether he had his right to defense.

Despite a long investigation and three trials, the woman’s family still does not know the exact circumstances of the 26-year-old’s death. When the third trial of Adam Z. began on October 30, Ewa Tylman’s father, Andrzej, noted that he still hoped for justice. In a conversation with the media, he also emphasized that he felt tired of years of court proceedings, especially since he still doesn’t know what exactly happened to his daughter.

– As a father, I will demand the highest punishment because I have no child. We’ve been gone for nine years. It’s sad, it doesn’t get erased, it keeps coming back, he said.
