Death of Adrien Lotto, former Mayor of Saint-Etienne de Tinée, Knight in the National Order of Merit and holder of the Aeronautics Medal.
Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, Deputy President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region: “It is with great sadness that I learn of the death of Adrien Lotto. The one who was first assistant to the Finances of Saint-Etienne de Tinée, from 1989 to 1995, before being the Mayor from 1995 to 2001 left his mark on this commune. While I was a Member of Parliament, I was able to appreciate his infallible commitment to his territory. Together, we thus inaugurated in 1998 a major facility for the Auron station: the Rovery room. Employed in the technical services of the City of Nice and then in the Ponts et Chaussées, he also participated in the construction of the emblematic route de la Bonette in 1956 before ending his career at Nice Côte d’Azur airport. He who was so attached to the duty of memory, I obviously do not forget his commitment as President of the association of veterans of Saint Etienne de Tinée. I address to his two daughters, Danielle and Geneviève, to his grandson Michel and to his two great-grandchildren my most sincere condolences”.
