According to his daughter, Céline, it was at the CH in Nord-Mayenne that he contracted the virus.
Her dad was admitted to Mayenne hospital for hepatitis on January 7. Céline has the doctor on the phone the same evening and this is what he would have said to her: “Due to lack of space, we were forced to put your dad in an emergency room. Don’t worry, we put a screen up because he’s with a woman who is positive for Covid“.
Negative when he entered the hospital, he returned home and came back positive
When he arrived at the hospital, his dad was negative for Covid-19. He remains in care and then he goes home. A few days later, he feels bad. He therefore returned to the CH in Nord-Mayenne and this time his PCR test was positive. For Céline, the hospital is at fault.
“The anesthetist just told us: ‘We wanted to say sorry to you because we know that your dad was infected in the hospital’. He recognized it in front of us“says Céline.
The management of the hospital cannot decide on its responsibility or not
A statement that surprises the director of the hospital. For her, “the elements do not allow to rule, yes or no on the responsibility of the establishment because between these two supports, this man has come home“.
