Fermoy, Ireland – Timothy (Tim) Guinee, of “Lios Keir,” Cork Road, Fermoy, and formerly of Gardeen, Lismire, Newmarket, Co.Cork, passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully at his home. The news of his passing has deeply saddened his family and community.
Mr. Guinee is survived by his wife, Mary (nee headon), and his children, Aoife, Tiarnan, and Muireann. He was also a cherished brother to Richard, Mary, James, and Sheila. His loss is mourned by his immediate family, as well as his extended family, neighbors, and a wide circle of friends.
“Tim passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at his home. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Headon) and dear father of Aoife, Tiarnan and Muireann, brother to Richard, Mary, James and Sheila. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife,daughters,son,brothers,sisters,brothers-in-law,sisters-in-law,nephews,nieces,extended family,neighbours and friends,” reads a statement from the family.
Visitation will be held at his home on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St.Patrick’s Church in Fermoy on Monday at 11:30 a.m., followed by burial at Kilcrumper New Cemetery.
