Martina Brennan (née mangan),​ a beloved wife, daughter, and ‍sister, ⁤passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold’s Cross, Dublin. Her passing marks a profound‌ loss for her ​family and friends,but ⁣her memory will ​continue to shine brightly.

Martina,residing at 20 Hillview,Hacketstown,Carlow,and formerly ‌of Glenview ⁢Park,Tallaght,Dublin,leaves ‍behind a legacy ‍of love‌ and warmth. She is survived by her ⁣husband, Colm; her parents, Paddy ⁤and Anne; her siblings, Deirdre and Colm; ⁤her ‍mother-in-law, Breda; and a wide network ⁤of extended family and friends who will deeply miss‌ her presence.

A testament‌ to her vibrant spirit, Martina’s family shared a touching ⁢detail: “It was Martina’s wish that, if possible, anyone attending her funeral would wear ‌an item of purple clothing, symbolising her favourite color.”

Visitation will be held at Carpenters Funeral Home, ‍Shamrock Square, carlow (R93 C863), on Monday,⁢ December ​30,​ from 3:00‍ PM, concluding with prayers at 8:00 PM. The⁢ funeral Mass will take‍ place on Tuesday at 1:30 PM⁣ at St. Brigid’s‍ Church in Hacketstown,following a 12:45 PM ⁢removal ⁤from​ the‍ funeral‌ home. burial ⁤will be at ⁢Killeshin Cemetery, Carlow.

In lieu of flowers,the family requests donations be made ​to Our Lady’s Hospice,Harold’s Cross,Dublin.‍ This reflects Martina’s compassionate nature and her desire to support⁢ those in need.
