Death Injected Low Grade Pertamine Fuel, Methane Starts Showing Off, Solar Question Mark and Pertalite

JAKARTA, RADARKAUR.CO.ID – Low quality Pertamina fuel will be suppressed or removed from circulation in Indonesian territory. The government has set January 1, 2023 for the entry into force of the new legislation on subsidized fuels.

So as of 1 January 2023 there are 3 types of subsidized low quality Pertamine fuel that will be abolished. Includes Premium (octane levels RON 87 and RON 88).

In addition to PT VIVO Energy Indonesia’s Revvo 89 brand fuel.

This deletion was regulated by the Minister of ESDM/Energy and Mineral Resources No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022.

At the same time, a replacement fuel for BBM, called CNG or Compressed Natural Gas, should be a future fuel solution.

CNG offers low prices and high quality, so it has managed to attract the public.

Natural gas is currently marketed at a price of 3,100 IDR per litre, but with a quality equivalent to Pertamax Turbo 98.

With the low prices and better quality of CNG, people are starting to switch to using CNG instead of BBM.

In addition, the government will limit the purchase of subsidized perthalite and diesel fuel. The aim is to ensure that Pertamina’s subsidized fuel reaches its target.

Purchasing restrictions will begin next year, the rules are currently under discussion and are expected to be completed in early 2023.
