The police have done urine test to the driver of the Honda HR-V, a young man with the initials BT (20) who hit three motorbikes on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Central Jakarta. Police stated BT urine test results negative for drugs.
“The results of the urine test have come out. So the results are negative (drugs) yes,” said the Director of Lantas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo to reporters, Friday (18/2/2022).
The results of the urine test came out 2×24 hours after sampling. The test results also include an alcohol test, in which the results are negative.
“There are lab results, negative,” added Sambodo.
However, the police are currently waiting for the results of a blood test to find out more about whether the driver had ever taken drugs.
“We are still waiting for the blood results. The suspect has been named a suspect,” he said.
BT has now been named a suspect. He was charged with Article 310 paragraph 4 of the Road Traffic and Transportation Law. The police have also arrested BT.
Previously, a viral video circulated showing BT’s condition shortly after hitting a motorcycle in Sudirman. BT went viral in a drunken state.
For information, the police have determined the male driver of the Honda HR-V with the initials BT (20) suspect after hitting three motorcyclists on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Central Jakarta. BT has now been detained.
“Yes, we are holding it,” said Head of Sub-Directorate for Gakkum, Ditlantas, Polda Metro Jaya Kompol Argadija Putra when contacted, Thursday (17/2).
BT is currently being held in the Gakkum Sub-Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya. He was charged with Article 310 paragraph 4 of the 2009 Traffic and Road Transport Law.
The article regulates the matter of negligence in driving that causes the death of another person. BT faces up to six years in prison.
