Mohamed Salah and Liverpool have not found an agreement for a contract extension. For Salah, the ‘ball’ is now with the club!
Mohamed Salah’s contract will expire at Liverpool in June 2023. The 29-year-old player has continued to be a mainstay for the Reds since joining in 2017.
Just look at the goal stats Mohamed Salah in Liverpool. The Egyptian player scored 148 goals and 56 assists in 229 matches in all competitions.
One also helped Liverpool won the English League, Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup.
This 2021/2022 season, Salah is not slack. Salah continues to be a goal field with 16 goals from 20 matches in the Premier League, plus seven goals from six matches in the Champions League.

One year remaining, Liverpool have to extend the contract immediately Mohamed Salah. No doubt, other big European clubs are still interested in him.
Reported from Sky Sports, Mohamed Salah reportedly asked Liverpool for a salary increase so that he was willing to give a new signature. The player did not elaborate further, but Salah emphasized that he didn’t ask for something weird!
“The club knows what I want. I’m not asking for anything weird,” he insisted.
“I have entered my fifth year at Liverpool. I am so happy to be a part of it and I love the fans. I want to stay longer, but the decision is on the club’s side,” he concluded.
