Digital banking services are said to be prioritizing primary security for customers. Bank BTPN Digital Banking Head Irwan Tisnabudi revealed that several cases of lost funds that occurred to Jenius customers were caused by social engineering or fraud.

He said that Jenius has always prioritized security in Jenius’ operations.

According to him, customers must be fully responsible for their bank accounts. For example, by taking good care of personal information or OTP codes or passwords.

“If someone claims to be from a bank and asks for personal data, it should never be given,” he said, Thursday (26/8/2021).

Currently, BTPN has conducted socialization to customers regarding data security. For example, by minimizing the risk of data loss if the customer has already provided personal data.

BTPN also implements a one device policy to protect Jenius customer accounts.

During this five-year journey, more than 3.3 million members of the digital savvy Indonesia community have become Jenius users and 170,000 of them have opened a Jenius business account to develop their business.

“This trust and support encourage us to continue to co-create, collaborate, and grow together in presenting life finance solutions that can help friends in managing their lives and finances better. Stories, inputs, ideas from Jenius friends are our inspiration and passion for continue to be present through various innovations at Jenius,” explained Irwan.

Currently, more than 30,000 Jenius friends have joined as co-creators who share their voices, input, and ideas for the development of Jenius as a life finance solution in Indonesia. Jenius has also carried out this co-creation process through more than 650 surveys, FGDs, and in-depth interviews with more than 77,000 members of the digital savvy community.

Still carrying the spirit of the #LakukandenganCaramu program, on this fifth anniversary, Jenius appreciates everyone’s way of living and realizing their dreams with Jenius. This spirit is realized by Jenius by presenting a new look for the Jenius application which was developed from the input of Jenius friends.

The new UI/UX update for the Jenius application aims to make it easier for users to manage their lives and finances with Jenius. Now digital savvy can more easily use Jenius through the new Home screen, bottom-up navigation, and quick access to the Mobius button.

In addition, Jenius presents a BirthYay promo program entitled Dare to Save More with attractive offers at several favorite merchant partners for Jenius friends. Simply transact using selected Jenius features such as Jenius Visa Debit Card or Jenius Pay, Jenius friends can get various promos that suit their needs, ranging from discounts for transactions on e-Commerce to cashback on investment transactions.

Coinciding with this fifth anniversary, Jenius is now closer to the digital savvy community through the new Jenius Live concept in collaboration with Liberica.

Through this collaboration, digital savvy people can visit Jenius Live booths at several Liberica outlets spread across Jakarta to fulfill their banking needs, from account activation to information and other assistance needs about Jenius. Jenius friends can also enjoy promos offered from the collaboration between Jenius and Liberica, for new Jenius users and existing Jenius users.
