Russian dealers have lowered prices for new Chevrolet Captiva imported under the parallel import scheme, as the Autonews.ru correspondent, who got acquainted with the price tags for the model, made sure.
For the first time, the appearance of the model in Russia became known at the end of February 2023. Then the prices for the crossover ranged from 1.92 million to 2.4 million rubles. For some dealers, the price even reached 2.85 million rubles.
Apparently, dealers have practically no budget versions left, so car dealerships have reduced the price of top-end Premier versions. So, now in one of the major metropolitan car dealerships, cars cost 2.05-2.09 million rubles. Previously, their price tag was 2.84–2.85 million rubles.
The Premier package includes electric power steering, engine start with a button, start-stop system, driver’s seat adjustment, passenger’s seat adjustment, power windows, power mirrors, Apple CarPlay, leather upholstery, climate control, heated seats, navigation system, camera rear view, parking sensors and cruise control.
Recall that the second-generation Chevrolet Captiva has been produced since 2018 for emerging markets and is a converted Chinese crossover Baojun 530, which differs from it by the original grille and logos. In Russia, the car is available with a non-alternative 1.5-liter Daewoo S-TEC III LJO turbo engine with a capacity of 147 hp. and 250 Nm of torque.
Earlier, Autonews.ru reported that prices for the new Opel Crossland X, which are imported under the parallel import scheme, have been reduced in Russia.
