The seller unsuccessfully drove a customer’s Ford Ranger Raptor on a dirt road. What exactly caused the accident is unknown.

In South Africa, a local dealer employee crashed a Ford Ranger Raptor pickup before delivering it to a customer. About it told on the Carscoops website.

The seller decided to drive a customer’s $61,000 Ford Ranger Raptor before the buyer picked it up. He went onto a dirt road, after which he slid down onto the grass.

The pickup had to handle all obstacles with ease thanks to 32-inch all-terrain tires and active 2.5-inch FOX Live Valve dampers. However, something went wrong.

At one point, the Ford Ranger Raptor rolled onto its roof. The dealer’s employee was driving at a speed of about 50 km/h.

Photos of the car after the incident later emerged. The body of the pickup received a lot of damage, including the roof, front fenders, side mirrors and hood.

Interestingly, the owner of the Ford Ranger Raptor was not immediately informed of the incident. He learned about the accident only after they announced that he was going to go to a car dealership for his car.

Note that the Ford Ranger Raptor is equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine with a capacity of 397 hp. and 583 Nm of torque. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds.

Previously Focus reported that McLaren Artura’s newest $300,000 supercar was smashed shortly after purchase.
