Actor Nabil Mallat goes home with an Ensor, for his starring role in the movie “Cool Abdoul”, about the talented young boxer Ismail Abdoul. In an emotional word of thanks, he addresses his deceased father, and thanks his family, and co-star Anemone Valcke.
Newcomer Yassine Ouaiich wins the Ensor for his main role in the series “Ground”. “An actor is only as good as his opponents, so thank you to all colleagues. Thank you for this beautiful story, and the trust in me. One team, one family”, Ouaich’s enthusiastic acceptance speech sounds like.
In the supporting roles, “Dealer” wins again, with an Ensor for actor Bart Hollanders, who despite his “dry mouth” thanks his girlfriend, and director Jeroen Perceval for casting him.
Geert Van Rampelberg wins the Ensor for best supporting role in the series “Red light”, a series about people smuggling and prostitution in Antwerp and Amsterdam. “Lots of love and gratitude, and let us continue to make beautiful things, because these have been difficult years for our sector,” says Van Rampelberg in his Dankwood.
