Palmeiras will have the return of Pedrão, defender revealed by the youth categories. The young man was in the final process to arrange his trip to the Madeira Island National, but the agreement was not signed. It will be available to Abel Ferreira from August, when the international window will reopen.
Initially, the Alviverde had agreed to trade it for 600,000 euros (almost R$ 3.6 million) and would still keep 30% of the economic rights of the player.
In May, Abel Ferreira spoke with the board about the possibility of bringing forward his loan return, but there was no agreement. The technician had already given up relying on him when he learned that the deal was underway.
Now, he arrives to reinforce the squad that has just lost Alan Empereur, another athlete of the same position who was on loan from Hellas Verona and did not have his purchase exercised by Verdão.
Pedrão was São Paulo’s under-20 champion with Palmeiras in 2017, was among the professionals the following year and then went through a series of loans.
