Sea Deadpool-Actor Ryan Reynolds are Marvel Studios after Channing Tatums (To the Moon) Cameo appearance as Gambit in Deadpool & Wolverine now “obsessed” with the character.
After Tatum After trying in vain for years to get his own Gambit film off the ground, he was allowed to play the iconic character in the film released last July Deadpool & Wolverine spielen.
Many fans praised Channing Tatums Representation of the X-Mencharacter in the film, and he himself has openly stated that he is still interested in doing a solo Gambit film if he gets the chance.
In a conversation on the podcast Awardist von Entertainment Weekly expressed Ryan Reynolds (IF – Imaginary Friends) his belief that Marvel Studios could offer the actor this opportunity.
What did Ryan Reynolds say about Marvel and Channing Tatum‘s Gambit?
“I honestly don’t know what goes on behind closed doors in the accounting meetings at Marvel, but I know they are obsessed with him in this role,” said Reynolds. “It’s basically the same thing I went through. Once you show it works well, that’s exactly what they need. Sometimes they just need to see it in action.”
Before the publication of Deadpool wanted in 2016 Reynolds appear as this character in his own film for years. The project seemed dead after that Green Lantern 2011 did not impress at the box office or among fans. But when test recordings were made in July 2014 Deadpool were leaked online and received an enthusiastic response, he decided Foxto continue the project.
Reynolds added in the interview: “And Channing plays this character so uniquely, and also he’s so physically impressive – the way he moves and the way he masters the steps.”
Currently has Marvel Studios no Gambit solo film for that MCU announced. It has not yet been confirmed whether Tatum Gambit in future ensemble films like the Avengers or X-Men will appear.
This isn’t either Ryan Reynolds first pitch for a character from his 3rd Deadpool film. Back in August he advertised a Blade finale film on X Wesley Snipes.
