Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman “will save the entire Marvel Universe” with Deadpool 3, says X-Men director Matthew Vaughn.
Matthew Vaughn believes Deadpool 3 will be the MCU’s great savior and will help the franchise get back on track at the box office after some disappointing releases.
Vaughn, who previously worked in the Marvel superhero universe with his 2011 film X-Men: First Class, recently revealed to BroBible during his Argylle press tour that he knows something about what will happen in Ryan Reynolds’ next film.
«The few clips I know of Deadpool vs. “Wolverine (or Wolverine vs. Deadpool, I’m sure the argument between Ryan and Hugh is happening as we speak) are incredible,” said the filmmaker. “It’s going to be a shock… the Marvel Universe is about to be shocked and brought back to life… I think Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are about to save the entire Marvel Universe. »
While the plot of the third Deadpool movie remains under wraps, the film will star Hugh Jackman as he reprise his iconic X-Men role as Logan/Wolverine.
The confirmed cast of Deadpool 3 also includes Emma Corrin, Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Karan Soni (Dopinder), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), Rob Delaney (Peter), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Shioli Kutsuna (Yukio) and Stefan Kapičić (Colossus).
Also note that Jennifer Garner is expected to return in the role of Elektra that she played 20 years ago in the films Daredevil and Elektra.
Directed by Shawn Levy, Deadpool 3 is scheduled for release on July 24, 2024.
