Honoring Heroes: Fatal Hotel Chain Celebrates Employee Reservists
In a touching display of gratitude, the Fatal Hotel chain hosted a special recognition ceremony for its employees who answered the call of duty and joined the Israeli Defense Forces reserves. The event, held at the historic Hangar 11 in Tel Aviv, overflowed with patriotic spirit, draped in the flags of various IDF units and adorned with yellow flowers symbolizing the desperate plea for the safe return of abducted citizens.
“I know you have had difficult days, but I am sure that happiness is coming to all of you,” expressed David Fatal, founder and CEO of Fatal Holdings, in his heartfelt address. “From work, in battle, and on the home front, we at Fatal Hotels worked for the families of the evacuees, the families of the kidnappers, and the soldiers, but none of this could have happened without you.” His words resonated with the audience, invoking a shared sense of national unity and purpose.
Avia Magen, CEO of the Fatal hotel chain in Israel, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the immense sacrifice made by these reservists: "In the past year since October 7th, you found yourselves putting on your uniforms and re-enlisting to serve the country. You went on missions to protect the homeland with great passion, determination and courage. You left behind your homes, your work, and your friends." Magen continued, "You served believing this was the order of the hour. Thank you. We on the home front felt what unity is, the love of the country and what is common commitment and sticking to a goal. For that, thank you from the bottom of my heart."
Over 300 employees, including regional CEOs Yossi Glazer, Kobi Hatzoel, and Yaakov Sha’ari, were in attendance. The ceremony, bursting with showmanship, included a celebratory reception followed by a moving film featuring prominent Israeli media personalities like Danny Kushmaro and Alon Ben David, offering heartfelt greetings to the returning heroes. A festive dinner was served, and each reservist received a thoughtful gift – a portable charger and a personalized robe, symbolizing the unbreakable bond between them and the Fatal network.
The evening culminated with a captivating performance by renowned Israeli singer Hanoch Daum, accompanied by a specially composed song dedicated to the reservists. The song was a poignant tribute, carrying a universal prayer for their safe return, the swift resolution of the hostage crisis, and a future defined by unity, understanding, and shared prosperity.
