A nine-year-old boy died after being hit by a car yesterday afternoon in Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn.
Police say the boy was on the curb when he was hit by a spinning vehicle.
He was initially taken to hospital in stable condition, but later died of his injuries.
The driver remained on the spot and is not suspected of any wrongdoing.
The NYPD Highway Collision Squad is investigating the incident.
