Deadly coronavirus outbreak in China rises above 300 | Abroad

In the meantime, around 13,700 people are said to have been infected with the virus throughout China. About 500 of the infected people are in mortal danger.

Hubei is home to the metropolis of Wuhan, the epicenter of the virus outbreak. Of the 304 deaths, 294 were killed in this region. The 10 others in other parts of China.

The virus probably first appeared in December in Wuhan, the provincial capital of Hubei. The disease has so far been diagnosed in 27 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Russia and Sweden.
